In August, we enjoyed entertaining the crowds of peach pickers who visited Carlson Orchards in Harvard on a beautiful sunny day. We’ll be back there in October for another tune-filled day, this one to celebrate apple season–and, this time, most likely with a wonderful bit of fall nip in the air. What could be more New England than picking your own favorite apples, stopping under the tent to sample the hard cider, and sitting down to enjoy some good food from local vendors while we get your toes tapping with some traditional tunes and songs. As for us, we are always charmed and entertained by the children who instinctively get up and dance to the jigs and reels. This is a free event in a beautiful location, and we hope you’ll join us! (Thanks to Steve Lieman for capturing the following photos at August’s Peach Festival–we will look more or less like this, but with sweaters on!)
